Colorado Relay

The Colorado Relay is a 24-hour+ 170-mile team relay race, and is Colorado's Premier Team Relay designed for athletes of all abilities. The 2008 Colorado Relay will be held on September 12-13, 2008. 151 teams signed up for the 2007 event so sign up early. See the Finish Times and Categories for the 2007 event.

The 2008 Race Dates are September 12-13, 2008. REGISTRATION.

The course takes athletes of all abilities, across several mountain passes in the beautiful Rocky Mountains, from Idaho Springs to Glenwood Springs, CO. Most teams have 10 runners each of whom run three segments of the race, with a leg averaging about 6 miles miles. A new division allows a team to be anywhere from 6-12 runners, running in any order desired. We've called the division the "Non-Conformists".

The Colorado Relay is the perfect place to bring together your team, work group, running club, college buddies, high school club, Outward Bound reunion or church group for a weekend of team camraderie, fun, exercise and support of Outward Bound Wilderness. Each team brings together not only runners, but drivers for their vehicles, volunteers for exchange points and other support personnel, making this truly a team effort – just what Outward Bound Wilderness is all about. Please join us. If you have questions, email them to race@coloradorelay.com.
